Why I Started Blogging

Writing is a funny thing ya know?I originally found out about blogs, probably somewhere around the time I was a Junior in College, back in 2005.I liked reading them and I often followed one's dealing with poetry, since I was way into poets and poetry back then heavily.I thought of posting some of my stuff online, but then I wondered where I would even have time to keep up a blog.I mean I was a student, taking a heavy class load, involved in activities on campus (partying, mainly) and working.So I dropped the idea.

Mainly, I kept my poetry on the pages of my notebooks and journals.

But, somewhere around 2010 I decided to start writing about some things that were going on around my city. That blog I started on Blogger, called "The Topic".I don't remember what sparked this idea, other than I just wanted to voice my opinion and possibly entertain my friends and family while I was at it.Thennnnn....Along with the idea of writing a novel, I decided to create NicoleAliciaOnline.com. It was to be a lifestyle blog about any and everything. I talked about relationship issues and review different TV shows and movies. I guess my main purpose was to entertain, gain connections, while possibly inspiring someone along the way.
